Side effects
Eating vitamin E rich food is not dangerous or harmful. However, taking high doses of vitamin E as a supplement can be harmful. Excess of this increase the risk of bleeding and can cause severe bleeding in the brain. Excess of vitamin E in the pregnant woman's body can also cause birth defects in the baby. It is therefore important that vitamin E supplements are not taken without doctor's advice, especially when you are taking blood thinners such as aspirin.

Those people who are also deficient in vitamin K should not consume high amounts of Vitamin E. There is also evidence that death can also occur if vitamin E is consumed in high amounts regularly.
